Military and Aerospace Legacy Products - International Traffic in Arms Regulations

A Global Resource in obsolete and hard to find electronic/new products in component management solutions, today announced that it is now registered with the United States Department of State for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Meeting ITAR Certification certifies that eComp has met requirements pertaining to organization structure, documentation, corporate policy, training and procedures to permit it to handle, use and transfer information controlled by ITAR and the U.S. Munitions list.

ITAR, administered by the U.S. Department of State, regulates the export and import of U.S. military defense related equipment, services, and information. The purpose of U.S. ITAR regulations is to ensure that foreign countries, or foreign nationals working for U.S. companies in the U.S., do not have access to any of the designs generated by military customers.

eComp now has the right to distribute and ship military and aerospace products for export. Companies receiving this certification demonstrate that they have knowledge and understanding to fully comply with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations as well as having corporate procedures and controls in place to ensure compliance.
